{"id":"u375","name":"Career Edge paid internship for recent graduates with a disability (Career Edge Organization)","help":"direct","type":"opportunity","typeLabel":"Paid internship","what":"A paid internship with an employer in Canada for people who choose to register as a person with a disability. Registering is free. Interns earn a base monthly stipend of $3,600 before deductions, paid every two weeks, and placements typically run 4 to 12 months. Career Edge coaches job seekers on telling an employer about a disability only if they choose to, and works with employers so accommodation requests are met.","forWhom":"People who register with a self-declared disability and have graduated from a post-secondary institution (the registration form says no time limit), are legally able to work in Canada and have not already accepted a Career Edge paid internship.
