After-school care run by the City of Toronto at community centres and schools across the city, from school dismissal to 6 p.m. (5:30 p.m. at some locations), Monday to Friday during the school year. Children get sports, outdoor play, creative activities, homework help and a daily healthy snack. Regent Park Community Centre (402 Shuter St.) is one of the locations.

Register online in the City's Registration and Booking System, or call Recreation Client Services at 416-396-7378, option 1. To pay in two parts, register by phone or in person. If the location is full, join its waiting list. The City contacts you by email, or by phone if your account has no email, when a spot opens. Before your child's first day, fill in the Participant Information form and hand it in person to the staff at the location. If your income is low, apply for the City's Welcome Policy fee subsidy to help pay the fee. If your child has special needs or a disability, register first, then email the ARC inclusion team at [email protected] to set up a meeting.
