A City of Toronto program that gives adults with low income 36% off each adult TTC fare paid with PRESTO, including Wheel-Trans. You pay $2.10 a trip instead of the regular $3.30. With TTC fare capping, once you reach 47 paid trips ($98.70) in the same month, the rest of your trips that month are free. The discount lasts 12 months.
Who qualifies
Toronto residents aged 20 to 64 with a PRESTO card and low income. The limit for total after-tax family income is $22,691 for 1 person, $32,090 for 2 people, $39,302 for 3 people and $45,383 for 4 people. People getting Ontario Works, Emergency Assistance or ODSP meet the income rule. People getting Ontario Works, ODSP or a Toronto Child Care Fee Subsidy do not need income documents, only their member ID or file number.
