A monthly federal payment for seniors aged 65 and older who have lived in Canada long enough; for October to December 2026 it is up to $762.50 a month at ages 65 to 74 and up to $838.75 at 75 and over.
Who qualifies
People 65 or older who are Canadian citizens or legal residents and have lived in Canada for at least 10 years since age 18 (20 years if living outside Canada); seniors with 2025 net world income above $93,454 pay back part of it through the recovery tax.
