  • Their stepsAs soon as you get a Notice of Hearing from the Landlord and Tenant Board, go to tdc.acto.ca (or call 1-866-245-4182, the number the City of Toronto lists). Fill in your LTB file number, postal code, hearing date, name and phone number, and pick a callback time (9 to 11, 11 to 1, 1 to 3 or 3 to 5). Duty counsel calls you before your hearing to give advice; if you are locked out or got a sheriff notice and have no hearing yet, contact your local community legal clinic through Legal Aid Ontario.
