Two federal grants you do not pay back: $2,800 a year for students with a disability (until the end of the 2026 to 2027 school year), plus up to $20,000 per school year for education-related services or equipment you need because of your disability.
Who qualifies
Students with financial need in a qualified program at a designated school who have a disability recognized by the Canada Student Financial Assistance Program and can send documents that show it; the services and equipment grant also needs written confirmation from a qualified person that you need them, and a document confirming the cost.
